For people used to (or not used to) online forums - most forums are run with a specific set of rules governing what can/can't be posted, and how forum members are required to treat each other. This is known as 'forum decorum'. And most forums have moderators who are expected to make sure that these rules are followed. In most forums, moderators remove offending posts, and ban members who won't follow the rules.

The TalkGold forum is, shall we say, different. Although they do have a set of rules, and they do have moderators, the rules are rarely enforced unless other members protest against offending members or their posts. And even when the rules are enforced, the offending threads/posts are still left openly viewable. 

Members are allowed to post whatever they want, using whatever words they choose (profane, racist or not) and little or nothing is done about it. Flaming of forum members is very widespread.
